Why Lines Matter

Select a region in your client and connect successfully before you open the browser and log in. Keep that same exit for the whole session, login, chat and file uploads, and do not switch mid-session. Browser-extension proxies only affect the browser itself and leave desktop clients untouched; if you only use the web app, an extension proxy is enough.
API requests do not go through a browser; they leave through the network exit of the machine that makes the call.
